First, let's talk about where we started, and where we are now all thanks to YOU! In 2012, two wonderfully talented women worked together in photography at Glamour Shots in the Kenwood Mall and it was instant chemistry and magic since. These two women are now the owner and manager at Blush Bridal, making dreams come true every single day. Colleen, our owner and Jami, our manager, opened Blush Bridal in May of 2017, starting with just 2 bridal lines and 2 stylists!
Now, about our amazing and fearless leader and owner of Blush Bridal, Colleen. 10 years ago, Colleen dreamed of growing her bridal shop where brides’ dreams came true. Her first bridal shop she opened in 2012, Something New, Borrowed and Blue blossomed into the store we know today as Blue Bridal. 5 years after growing that beautiful store, Blush was then born! Colleen inspires her crew to be creatively themselves every day, forever celebrating our brides and the art of love, and making sure that each stylist is ready to create beautiful memories that Blush Brides will forever cherish.
Our extremely cunning manager, Jami, worked with Colleen at Glamour shots, and followed her to open up Colleen’s first bridal store, Something New, Borrowed and Blue as their accountant. One day, she was helping out with a bride and ended up being AMAZING at it, became a stylist and moved up to assistant manager a few years later. Then, in 2017, Blush was born just up the street in the bridal district and Colleen asked Jami to be the manager. Jami was diagnosed with MS a month before Blush was supposed to open, and her doctor suggested her to change careers and that was the push she needed and wanted to become really successful. This fueled her ambition and pushed her to be her very best, succeeding every obstacle that came her way even when the doctors told her she couldn’t and made her into the Jami we know and love today.
Blush now has 10 bridal lines, each gown perfectly hand picked for our brides. We now have 10 fabulous women (and counting) that are passionate about serving brides and creating magical moments! We are now one of the top Justin Alexander Bridal stores in the country; a diamond partner, The Knot Best of Wedding winners since 2017, we have done countless runway shows, an episode with Bridezillas, featured on Fox 19, and did a total remodel because our growth has been one for the books!
Now, the super fun part – ALL the tea for the PARTYYY! On June 24th, between 6-9pm we are throwing a birthday celebration and all of our Blush Brides are invited! All YOU have to do is show up to Blush Bridal Cincinnati!
The first activity that you and the girls can do is craft the YUMMIEST cocktails with Stirred Not Shaken on bridal row! We’ve done this before and believe us when we say… we haven’t stopped making these cocktails since because they are CRAVE-WORTHY! They will be bringing all the supplies and we’re supplying the booze! They will set up stations and teach you step-by-step how to make their incredible recipes for the best drinks you’ve ever had. Plus, they have so much fun doing it!
The second vendor that we are featuring is a whole bunch of floral fun! Reading Floral Boutique is coming and bringing a ton of beautiful flowers and you can see all that they offer and make some fun and beautiful bouquets! We can’t wait to see everything our brides create, and also to see what Reading Floral Boutique has in store for you! We have seen some of the best floral arrangements come out of their store, and we use them each time we do a styled shoot or photos for social media, and lets just say we are OBSESSED. You don’t want to miss this!
