Each designer has their own style, and each venue has its’ own vibe. When a bride makes an appointment at Blush, we always ask them where they will be getting married so we know what to look for and what to expect. For instance, if the wedding were in a rustic barn, we would focus more on the rustic-style designer that we have in store!
When Somerhaus first opened, we were ecstatic. Somerhaus is a one-of-a-kind venue with the most intriguing style out there. It has interesting furnishings and art from around the world, with the entire inside covered in plant life and greenery. The ceilings have windows that come to a point, and give it a green house feel, with a giant canoe reaching from one end to another. There’s a colorful land rover in the corner and two giant, long tables with mismatching yet beautiful chairs. This venue deserves a one-of-a-kind designer to be worn and we think that designer is Lillian West. The Lillian West collection “embodies wild one of a kind bridal design, offering organic, handcrafted gowns to fulfill the dreams of brides across the globe.”
The Marmalade Lily is a gorgeous farm in the heart of Loveland, Ohio with giant mature trees, a reflecting pond, and scattered garden vignettes. They offer full service packages with in-house wedding coordinators, in-house floral design services, tables and chairs, sites and benches, and more! The barn on site is a giant white modern-style barn with black accents. The inside gives off an industrial vibe. We think that Evie Young is an ideal designer to match The Marmalade Lily with its femininity and elements to the designs. “A label of modern contemporary wedding gowns that embody synergy and femininity. Evie Young creations feature in-house designed exclusive laces, earthen textural layers and innovative silhouettes. With a focus on the multi-faceted diversity of beauty and all that is feminine, Evie Young is akin to a montage of individual love stories.”
The Transept is a remarkable 1867 German Gothic building that was once a regal church with vaulted ceilings and magnificent stained glass. This venue offers its rich character with contemporary finishing’s making it romantic and classic. Funky’s catering is their in-house food and bar services, along with dinnerware, audiovisual equipment and dance floor. This space is truly out of a dream, and we couldn’t ask for more! We paired The Transept with Sincerity with its romance and classic characteristics. “The Sincerity bridal collection is designed for the charismatic, classic bride who wants a dress fit for a fairytale wedding.”
The View is a stunning estate nestled on 18 acres of serene picturesque scenery, with exquisite panoramic views. Couples who choose to celebrate their day at The View at Mt. Adams can expect a plethora of opportunities for stunning wedding photos. The sweeping grounds feature rows of carefully manicured gardens, along with a beautiful orchard. This venue is another Funky’s catering establishment, and was named one of 2019’s hottest new venue openings across the globe! We decided that Justin Alexander Signature would look absolutely perfect in this space with its modern and lavish vibes. “Justin Alexander Signature redefines luxury. With its focus on opulence and drama, the collection is designed for the modern bride seeking a wedding dress that expresses her lavish sense of style and on-trend fashion sense.”
The Woods at Canyon Run Ranch is a barn venue nestled amongst 153 acres of woods. This historic location from the 19th century is positioned close to the Stillwater River Valley offering a variety of options. A couple options include a private chapel on the ridge with a shaded woodland area overlooking a cascade waterfall or the 1900s rustic barn with an adjoined milk parlor with high ceilings and twinkling fairy lights! We think that the designer Madi Lane would be amazing in this venue because the collection of gowns are absolutely magical which is exactly how we feel about this venue! “Propelled ever forward by the beauty of art, the elegance of design, and an enduring love affair with nature, the evolution of Madi Lane is one that has taken inspiration from the journey of life itself.”
This 100-year-old building, resting at the top of Mt. Adams, has been revived into the most iconic, romantic and royal building yet! The Monastery speaks for itself with its dramatic views all over. Every bride that wants the drama and all will get married here, because there is nothing else that compares to it. We thought there was no doubt that Justin Alexander is the number one designer that would be the perfect fit for this insanely beautiful and regal venue. Justin Alexander is inspired by vintage fashions, and embodies a class, refined, and timeless feel. Rich fabrics with handcrafted details create an effortless elegance with a touch of Old Hollywood glamour.
One of our absolute favorite new venues in Cincinnati is Mojave East! This venue is the definition of West Coast energy, with an industrial vibe mixed with the peaceful California desert. “Combined with the glamor of Palm Springs, Mojave East offers a striking ambience that merges nature with urban components. The venue boasts exposed beam ceilings that are 18 feet high, exposed cinderblock walls, and floor-to-ceiling windows for plenty of natural light.” We paired this with Lillian West, the boho collection of Justin Alexander Brands. “Whimsical and romantic details embody the Lillian West bridal dress collection and leave all brides feeling effortlessly chic. The Luxe is an industrial chic venue that provides a modern and romantic backdrop for one of life’s most magical occasions! Concrete floors, exposed steel, elegant chandeliers and brass embellishments give the venue such a luxurious and glamorous vibe. There is an outdoor courtyard that is perfect for ceremonies with twinkle lights hanging above. There is a built in bar with beautiful bar seats that is waiting for you to make a toast to your love and future together! There is a designated dance floor and a mezzanine overlooking the entire main hall that offers a more intimate setting. We matched The Luxe with our glamor and elegance line, Sophia Tolli. “A fusion of modern romance and timeless elegance, the Sophia Tolli Australia collection is a celebration of diversity, femininity and individuality.”
